Come as a guest, go as a friend. A common slogan I saw while trekking in Langtang.
A loner as I am, this slogan is far too sophisticated for me to understand. Till a long distance call from Nepal, wishing me Merry Christmas, then I realize……I have went to Nepal as a guest, gone as a friend.
It’s so nice to have friends who show concern.
